Mentoring for Freelancers
Nurture your freelance business with 1:1 tailored-to-you mentoring sessions that allow you to define your marketing strategy and attract your dream clients.
What my mentees say:
"Belinda was extremely helpful in providing me with excellent advice on how to grow my business. She was always kind and encouraging and made me feel at ease and highly motivated. Belinda particularly helped me in creating a more professional LinkedIn presence, focusing on my niche, creating a marketing strategy and recognising the importance of networking. Her support was extremely valuable."
Elisabetta, Italian freelance translator
You’ve gone out on your own and launched your freelancing business, but you’re struggling to take it to the next level. You’re in charge, but somehow you don’t feel in control. And you’ve trawled the internet for advice, but none of it is specific to your circumstances and goals.
Does this sound familiar? 👇
You need a solid marketing strategy, but you have no idea where to start.
You know you’ve got to show up for your business, but you feel overwhelmed by the prospect of posting on social media.
You’re clear on your services, but you don’t know how to find the right niche.
If so, my "1:1 Mentoring for Freelance Translators" programme could be for you.
What is Mentoring for Freelance Translators?
This is a customised mentoring programme for freelance translators looking to elevate their careers and get more out of their marketing efforts.
My 1:1 mentorship programme can save you countless hours of doing the wrong things. With a background in marketing, 4 years as a business owner and 12 years as a translator, I know exactly how hard it can be to level up your business on your own.
By the end of the programme, you will:
be clearer on your "why" in your freelance business.
learn how to use LinkedIn to market your services and organise your content.
learn about personal branding, including the “repel and attract” marketing principle.
be able to identify and approach your ideal clients.
During the programme, you'll get:
a content calendar template that will make your social media marketing a breeze.
a helpful “working with direct clients” checklist, which allows you to become clearer on your services and specialisations, identify your ideal clients and share your offer with them easily.
a complimentary LinkedIn profile audit.
a curated list of resources jam-packed with industry insights, downloadable email templates to reach out to prospects, content ideas, examples of online portfolios, job quotation templates and a recommended reading list.
How does it work?
Format: Each mentoring session lasts 1 hour and takes place via a Zoom video call. You can use these sessions however you see fit for your business – the choice is yours! That includes asking me questions, drafting social media posts or emails together or learning about a marketing principle via screen share. You'll also benefit from written support via email or LinkedIn messaging throughout the duration of the programme.
Pricing: You'll be charged €249 for 3 sessions with the option of adding follow-up sessions as needed. I recommend spacing out your sessions, giving yourself about 2 weeks in between so you can implement any changes and action plans that we discuss in our calls together. You can pay via bank transfer or PayPal.
Who is it for?
These sessions are for freelance translators with at least one year of work experience.

Why choose me?
Small translation business owners often spend hours searching for freelance and marketing advice, but often it’s too generic or simply not applicable to their goals.
As a marketer and translator with over a decade of industry experience, I’ve been there myself – and I totally get it. After years of struggling, I finally invested in 1:1 business coaching services and it was a game changer.
I was finally able to:
ask the questions I'd always wanted to ask.
figure out which marketing strategies make sense for my business.
focus on my messaging and pinpoint my ideal client.
raise my rates as a result.
As I gained experience in the industry, I shared free resources on LinkedIn, Instagram and my YouTube channel. I wrote blogs with the aim of helping people who are struggling with their businesses.
It wasn’t until I did a couple of mentoring trials in 2022 that I realised how much I adored supporting my peers through 1:1 sessions. Seeing how they’ve transformed their businesses is incredible, and my heart sings when I see them putting themselves out there on social media and connecting with their ideal clients.
I can’t wait to support more freelance translators in making the most of their marketing efforts!
